Russian President Putin ordered Russia’s Defense Minister and the Chief of Military, General Staff, to keep
anti-nuclear forces ready at a high-level meeting.In a statement broadcast on TV, Putin said that Western
countries are not only imposing economic sanctions. Rather, NATO members have also made aggressive
statements regarding our countries.
Chemical weapons used by Ukraine
Russian media claim that Ukraine has used chemical weapons, according to them, phosphorus weapons have been used on them.The Secretary-General of NATO called Putin’s statement irresponsible. White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Putin was creating threats that don’t exist to justify the attack. Putin has described the invasion as a “not ordinary military operation”.
