On this day special worship of Lord Shri Ram is done in the temple of the house. Lamps are lit in front of the idol of Lord Shri Ram. On this day by reciting Ramayana and praising Ramcharan, the Lord is pleased and showers blessings on the devotees.

मम हृदय कंच निवास कुरु कामादि खलदल गंजनं
श्री रामचंद्र कृपालु भजु मन हरण भव भय दारुणं
नव कंजलोचन, कंज मुख, कर कंज, पद कंजारुणं
कंन्दर्प अगणित अमित छबि नवनील नीरद सुन्दरं
पटपीत मानहु तडित रुचि शुचि नौमि जनक सुतवरं
भजु दीनबंधु दिनेश दानव दैत्यवंश निकन्दंन
रधुनन्द आनंदकंद कौशलचन्द दशरथ नन्दनं

भूषन बनमाला, नयन बिसाला, सोभासिंधु खरारी।।
कह दुई कर जोरी, अस्तुति तोरी, केहि बिधि करूं अनंता
माया गुन ग्यानातीत अमाना, वेद पुरान भनंता
करूना सुख सागर, सब गुन आगर, जेहि गावहिं श्रुति संता
सो मम हित लागी, जन अनुरागी, भयउ प्रगट श्रीकंता
ब्रह्मांड निकाया, निर्मित माया, रोम रोम प्रति बेद कहै

यह चरित जे गावहिं, हरिपद पावहिं, ते न परहिं भवकूपा
