Navratri festival is celebrated across the nation; it is celebrated to commemorate the victory of goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasura. In this year, people are very excited because the previous 2 year, couldn’t having the freedom to celebrate this grate festival due to corona pandemic. So the people of our country are excited and they want to enjoy this festival. This year, all the school and colleges have also given quality of days as holidays. This year the Durga puja begins from 26 September till 5th October 2022.the Durga puja is worshipped nine days totally according to the Hindu rituals and the last as tenth day we burn the effigy of Ravana because during the Ramlila , the story of RAM ‘s lord victory over Ravana on the last day of Dussehra occurred.

The Navratri festival is celebrated four times in a year but we celebrate only two of them with lot of enthusiastic, the first one is Chaitra Navratri and the second one is Shardiya Navratri. The importance of Navratri festival in our country is so much, whenever the Navratri comes in people face having a different kind of happiness that can never be measured. Every year this festival do business of millions, as we can see all corner the market great supply and demand and it’s also help to maintain our economical condition.  We celebrate Chaitra Navratri during the spring season and Shardiya Navratri is celebrated at the initial of autumn season.
This festival has an amazing kind of felineness. The Navratri translates in Sanskrit language and it is worshipped nine days, the ninth avatar of maa Durga goddess calls it as Navdurga.

Know about the history of Navratri
The festival of Navratri marks the victory of Goddess Durga over the great demon of Mahishasura. The great demon Mahishasura had been wished by the lord Brahma that no any man can kill him, so understood that now no one could kill him also made him believed of immortality. But the lord Brahma also put a condition that only a woman could kill him. The Mahishasura made all the non violence so the all the lords decided to stop it. Now they all wanted that this is the right time to born lord Durga to wind up the violence of Mahishasura.  The fight between lord Durga maa and great Mahishasura went continued nine days and the last tenth day she killed the great demon of Mahishasura. And there was a trick that whenever Mahishasura sat up on buffalo then only he could be killed so that every, we see that great Mahishasura comes with buffalo.

How the craze of Navratri in India and all over the world

Every day of Navratri is associated with an incarnation of Goddess Durga. During the Navratri people all around the corner of the world established a (Kalash) vase in their home. The people call nine girls in their home to feed them good food and also worshipped the little nine girls. People ask the goddesses for her favors so that they may live happily and prosperous. They also pray to mother goddess to come every year in their homes. In many parts of the country, the festival is celebrated with much strength and joy by performing Garba and Dandiya Raas.
