Mahindra eKUV 100 Launching Details 2022 | Also Know Its Price and Features
Mahindra & Mahindra Company is finally ready to launch the latest eKUV in the Indian market after displaying it at the 2020 Auto Expo. The company has displayed this car in the last two-auto expo. However, it has not been launched yet because of its high-range vehicle segment. Mahindra Company already released the price tag of the car. Now, let us tell you that Mahindra has already announced the price of the car. In today’s date, it may not be possible to bring the car to the market by giving a strong range and features according to the competition at the, as usual, price or at the same price. But, Mahindra & Mahindra Company has made it possible for car buyers.
In April 2020, Mahindra had revealed the eKUV ex-showroom price in Delhi. It would start at Rs. 8.25 lakhs. We can say that Mahindra now landed to compete with Tata and other carmakers. This would be a small SUV car of Mahindra. In the month of February, Mahindra teased their electric lineup called “Mahindra born electric”.
Mahindra eKUV is to launch this year!
If we believe the sources, Mahindra Electric is planning to launch the XUV300 in early 2023. Moreover, there is a possibility that the eKUV could be launched in the third or fourth quarter of 2022. It can also be re-launched under the name E20, as its old model did not perform well in sales in the last year. We believe that with a range of around 300 km and along with a good budget price tag, the company would like to bring this car to most of the customers. The initial price of Mahindra eKUV can be around Rs 10 lakhs.
Competition Already Exists In The Market
If we talk about the comparison then Tata Motors stands at the top of its list. It has already dominated the market with its electric vehicle portfolio and the company has a market share of overall 70 percent in this segment. In March 2021, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has launched Mahindra Electric Mobility to the market. But it was not a successful attempt for the Mahindra company and we can say that its electric segment was not performed so well.
To capture the electric vehicle market, Mahindra has recently planned to invest Rs 3,000 crore that will spend on last-mile mobility and SUV EV platform. Mahindra carmaker has also released the teaser of electric cars some time ago in the market. And it is expected in the next 3-5 years many new EVs of the company will launch in India soon.
