The Government of Jharkhand has decided to resume the classes from 9 to 12. This decision has been taken hereafter for a long interval of time.
Jharkhand State Disaster Management Authority held a meeting in Ranchi under the chairman of Chief minister, Hemant Soren and it has been decided to resume the classes from 9 to 12 and other institutions with 50% capacity.

The government of Jharkhand has announced the opening of classes from class 9 to 12, including technical institutes and colleges for UG final PG final students with 50 % capacity, open till 12 pm. And the children will be allowed only after getting permission from their parents. But the youth students can go to their institutions like Polytechnic College, ITI College, and college and university after taking at least one dose of vaccine, officials said.
An announcement has been made to open a prestigious institute, but the government has also ordered to follow all the necessary protocols of covid-19. While the weekly lockdown in Jharkhand will continue in August, the weekly lockdown will start at 8:00 am on Saturday and will continue till 6:00 am on Monday. After seeing the fewer cases of Covid in Jharkhand on Friday, July 30, Jharkhand State Disaster Management Authority held a meeting with the Chief Minister, Hemant Soren. Officials decided that now schools and institutions of Jharkhand should be opened with 50% capacity from August.

Chief minister’s statements
CM said, keeping this in mind it is our endeavor that the life of Jharkhand state should be on track. And after a very long time, we have increased our concession. There is complete monitoring on the current situation and given the current situation. And now it has been decided to open school, college, coaching centers, inter-state movement, competitive exams, and clubs, etc in Jharkhand state. Also, he requests that our government has made the necessary concession and said that only with your cooperation the state can remain safe.

The list of relaxations given by the Jharkhand Government:-

1. All the shops in all districts will be open till 8 pm.
2. Restaurants and bars will be open till 10 am.
3. The government and private offices will be able to open with 100% human resources.
4. All shops (except vegetable-fruit grocery/restaurant/BAR, food items, and essential services) will remain closed from 8 pm on Saturday to 6 am on Monday.
5. Cinema halls, bars, multiplexes, and restaurants will open with 50% capacity as per official said.
6. Clubs will also be able to open.
7. All teachers and non-teaching staff will be present in all schools and colleges.
8. Classes 9, 10, 11, 12 will be able to open in the school.
   Online education will continue,Parent’s Permission will be mandatory.
   In the institutions, there will be a maximum of 4 hours of study allowed and the study will be till 12 noon.
9. The final year classes of UG and PG will be opened in the college.
   Online education will continue.
10. ITI / Skill Development Center / Polytechnic will be open. Online education will continue. At least one vaccine of the students will be mandatory.
11. Classes will be open for students above 18 years of age in the coaching institute. Online education will continue. 50% of room capacity only will be used. At least one vaccine dose will be necessary for students and teachers.
12. In open educational institutions, students and teachers and other staff will be tested for covid from time to time.
13. Other educational institutions will remain closed.
14. Anganwadi centers will remain shut but food items will be contributed to the possessor at home.
15. There will be a ban on gathering more than 100 people in an open space.
16. There will be a restriction on gathering more than 50% capacity or 100 persons, whichever is less, in a closed space.
17. Religious sites will remain to shut for devotees.
18. The ban on the procession will continue.
19. Interstate bus transport allowed.
20. The examination will be conducted by the State Government / national institutions of India. The national level examination was also allowed. UG and PG final year examinations are allowed in colleges and universities.
21. The ban on fairs and exhibitions will continue.
22. Swimming pools will remain closed.
23. E pass will not be necessary to come to Jharkhand from another state or to go from Jharkhand to other states.
24. Wearing of mask in a public place and maintaining social distance is mandatory.
25. In case of violation of the order, action will be taken by registering an FIR under the relevant section of the Disaster Management Act.
26. The said order shall remain in force till further orders.
    On Thursday 29 July reported 27 new covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The state has 237 active covid-19 cases while 3, 41,686 patients shave been recovered from the disease.
