IMPORTANT NOTE:-
The candidates are allowed 1 hour during the online preliminary exam. If the candidates do wrong one question then ¼ marks will be deducted from the right answer. In UDC phase –II there will be a total of 200 questions and each question carries 1 mark so it becomes a total of 200. And during the exam candidate will get 2 hours in Phase – II. Or in Phase –III the candidates have to identify with a skill test. And skill test will be the final phase for UDC (upper division clerk) exam.

Required Education Qualification for ESIC:-
Eligibility criteria for upper division clerk (UDC)
The candidate must have passed graduation from a recognized university /institution. And they should have current knowledge of computer including the use of office suites and databases.
Eligibility criteria for stenographer
For the recruitment of a stenographer, the candidate must have passed class 12 from a recognized board or university. Now get to know about skill test norms: dictation -10 minutes @80 words per minute, transcription (only on computer) 50 minutes (English), and 65 minutes (Hindi).
Eligibility criteria for multi-tasking staff (MTS)
The candidates should have passed matriculation from the recognized board.
