Odisha Power transmission corporation limited has invited applications for the Junior Manager Trainees
(JR. MT-Electrical). A state has owned power utility has invited applications for the young, dynamic, and
promising aspirants. And Excellent academic aspirants can apply for a bright career in the electrical
discipline. The selected candidates will be placed at various units across the state or other districts
of the state.
The candidate who will be selected for this vacancy, posted on a contractual basis. At initially the
candidates shall be appointed as a Junior Manager trainees-Electrical for a period of one year. The
candidate shall be sent to various units of (OPTCL) at power training centers (PTC) chandaka,
Bhubaneswar. In this corporation, the training period will be for 1 year.
After the successful completion of the training period, the candidate shall be appointed Junior Manager
Engineer or contractual basis for a period of 5 years.

Vacancies detail:-
The total number of posts is 40. The schedules caste has 12 posts and 28 posts for the unreserved categories. And also included 4 posts for the schedule caste women and 9 Posts for the unreserved women’s candidates.
Education qualification:-
The applicants should have completed their diploma in electrical or electrical and electronic engineering
with at least 60% aggregate marks from a recognized university or institution. And for the scheduled caste
(SC) and PWD candidates should have a minimum of 50 % marks.
Age criteria:-
The applicant’s minimum age limit is 21 years. Or maximum age limit is 32 years as of 1st January 2022.
Age relaxation is given to the belonging or reserved categories as per government norms.

First-year training period:- Rs.20,000
Second year training period :- Rs.22,000
Third-year training period :- Rs.24,200
Foruth year training period :- Rs.26,620
Fifth year training period :- Rs.29,285
Sixth year training period :- Rs.32,215
After the completion of 6 year training period, the candidate should be considered as Junior Manager.
The post of Junior Manager Electrical (Label:-1) on the regular establishment in the pay Matrix Rs.44,900 to
Rs. 1,42,400 with basic pay of Rs. 44,900.
The candidate will get other allowances like traveling allowance (T.A) and daily allowance (D.A) for the
officials hours as per rules of the corporation.
Selection procedure:-
The candidate will be selected on the basis of a computer-based test examination and personal interview
only.
