JSSC Selection Procedure Details
The candidates need to pass through three stages TIER-I, II &III. In tier –I, They must have knowledge of Hindi and the English language. Moreover, they must have the knowledge of Jharkhand state. All the questions in the written test will be available in objective type and multiple-choice answer based. The exam duration of each paper will be of two hours and each question of all the three papers will be three marks. They will award three marks for correct answers and for the wrong answers; it will deduct one mark for each wrong answer.

The candidates may have the choice to select one language as a paper. The following languages are URDU/SATHALI/BANGLA/MUNDARI/KHADIA/KAURALI/KHORTA/NAGPURI/PANCHPARGANIA/ORIYA. In tier –II they must have answered the 100 MCQs in the respective language.
TIER-III (SUBJECT: Technical Knowledge)
The number of the question in TIER-III will be 120 and the syllabus for a particular subject will be the same as on the website of the Directorate General of Training New Delhi (DGT, New Delhi)http://dgt.gov.in/
